Tamara Finds Freedom with MiSight® 1 day.
Tamara never liked glasses. She got them in fourth grade but found it hard to get comfortable, especially since she loved sports so much. Tennis and golf were her favourite ways to stay active and spend time with family and friends. But with glasses, playing these sports became a struggle as they kept slipping down her face, making it hard to focus. To make matters more difficult, a follow-up appointment with the optometrist revealed a rapid progression of her myopia.
“I think at that point we were quite concerned. And so we were looking at strategies on how to slow down that progression.”
-Tamara’s mother, Amy
While searching for a solution to slow Tamara’s rapid myopia progression, her parents agreed for Tamara to try MiSight® 1 day contact lenses to see how well she responded.
Tamara is now fourteen years old, and her life has drastically improved. Putting in her contacts in the morning and taking them out in the evening have become part of her daily routine.1
“I'm able to focus more on the sport that I'm playing, be able to do the best that I can do, and I don’t have to worry about anything getting in my way.”
- Tamara
Tamara's myopia has remained stable2∞ and she and her family have full confidence in her future. With MiSight® 1 day lenses she can freely enjoy her favourite activities, without anything holding her back.
“To other parents, with children with myopia. My suggestion would be to consider MiSight®. It has worked very well for Tamara.”
- Tamara’s father, Robert
